NIGHT CAP SERIES
MLK Boulevard was once the place to be for Chattanooga's live music scene. Jazzanooga is reaching back and bringing you a Night Cap!
Named after one of the boulevard's legendary jazz joints, the Night Cap is an intimate concert series featuring local and regional talent.

JAZZ: GENERATION NEXT
This monthly series was created with a simple but ambitious mission: to preserve the traditions of jazz and blues music by providing a showcase platform to our local young musicians and artists to assist them with gaining more live performance experiences as well as a deeper cultural apprecation of the art forms of Jazz and Blues.

JUKE JOINT SESSIONS
Juke joint (or jook joint) is the vernacular term for an informal establishment featuring music and dancing, primarily operated by African American people in the southeastern United States. Its roots go all the way back to Emancipation. In the old South, poverty made life more extreme. So folks found barns, shacks, anywhere - to play, sing and dance their sorrows away. Over time, these places became known as juke joints. Within their walls the sounds of the some of America’s popular music were born.
Jazzanooga presents these live performances to encourage the preservation of these important parts of American music history.

ECLECTIC: JAM SESSION
Join us as we present one of the city's most unique Jam Sessions; ECLECTIC.
Eclectic is a open jam and mic session where local singers, musicians, spoken-word artists and creative performers get together for impromptu collaborations and planned performances.
